I am an experienced Mother of three older children, a former Doula and Infant/child care provider. My background is in Elementary Education, Midwifery, Infant Development, and Nurturing Communication as a Community Mediator and Peacekeeper. My approach is one of kindness and respect for the whole child. As a mother and home school facilitator, I have had the privilege of being around many children of diverse backgrounds, abilities, and creative ilks. It has always been essential for me to advocate for all children to have the freedom to be who they are from the inside out while holding the space for them to grow and develop in the safety of a confident, strong & loving container. My repertoire includes: pre-natal and post-partum holistic care of mothers, babies, & families, natural healing and nutrition, newborn and infant development & care and conscious parenting education/communication with all ages through teens. For the past several years, along with parenting my own beautiful children and tending to my other interests - mediation, education, and birth work - there has always been another little one around in our lives. Currently, I am phasing out of a nanny job with an 18 month old whose family is transitioning him to an early childhood program. In 2016, I hosted a pre-school in my home and assisted in the care of 6 children for several months. One of my aspirations is to open a holistic infant care center. One of the greatest joys for me is caring for newborn through school age children. It is a precious and magical time to witness them change and grow and blossom. As a caregiver, it is my intention not only to be joyful, fun and creative but to also be smart and nurturing of babies and children in conscious ways that are both considerate of their developmental and their individual emotional expressions. At the heart, children need loving and solid connection to their caregivers. Their physical, emotional and spiritual care should support their essence and uniqueness.
