I am seeking a family that is eager to have their child and/or children cared for in a safe loving and caring environment while enjoying the company of other children. I am currently pregnant and due with my second child in April 2016. My first child is two years old, born in August 2013, and very happy and fun-loving. I am willing to provide care in my home or yours. I am hoping to work with one family or possibly two families to provide ongoing full time childcare on a long term basis. I have a flexible start date beginning after the first of the new year and ranging through the end of spring. I am a nurturing, caring, and professional nanny with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. I love spending time with children and strive to ensure their safety, well-being and development at all times. In my previous jobs, I have organized my day using the principles of play-based learning and plenty of story-time for language development. My child care philosophy includes teaching happiness through self-sufficiency and manners. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Art. While attending college, I taught at a preschool working in the 2-year-old class. Upon graduation, I began working as a nanny in the Charlotte area. Over 10 years I have worked full time as a nanny caring for five different wonderful families of children (all boys!) ranging in age from newborn to five years old. Currently I work from my home providing in home child care to one very sweet baby girl, providing daily transportation and frequent outings, in addition to quality childcare. I am a mother to a boy who is now 28 months old. My son is happy, healthy, exuberant, talkative, and full of smiles. He loves children of all ages, adores babies, and is a wonderful friend and playmate. He loves learning about animals, reading books, playing outside, coloring, playing ball, and going on adventures. As a mother I have learned about the joys of attachment parenting and the importance of sharing a close bond with my son. My approach to parenting and childcare is modern, progressive, and open minded. I am responsible, thoughtful, dependable and organized. I am seeking to provide full time or part time care.
