I have many 15 years of childcare experience ranging from occasional babysitting to, most recently, full-time nannying. My expertise is infancy and toddler care, but I have provided childcare for children 1 month - 14 years. While completing my Masters in Counseling, I worked as a part time and full time nanny over the past 3 years and am knowledgeable of many developmental and parenting theories, such as Positive Parenting, Love and Logic and Montessori. I'm comfortable and equipped to carry out daily routines such as meals, diaper changes, play and schoolwork, special days out to the zoo or a museum, as well as bedtime activities. I speak conversational Spanish after completing my major and living abroad in Spain. While abroad, I completed an internship participating in music therapy for children and adolescents with disabilities. I am trained in infant and child life support and am BLS certified. I love Read more children and as a mental health professional, am constantly inspired by how they view the world. I am currently working virtually part-time on west coast hours and would love to fill my free-time with part-time ongoing or occasional childcare.
