Hi! My name is Jayda, I’m 22 years old and I’m looking for a family who needs a loving, nurturing, compassionate, and experienced Nanny! I’ve always had a heart and love for children. Since I could talk, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I “grew up”’ the answer was either a mommy or a Pediatric Nurse. Sometimes both! I currently work at a daycare in the Charlotte area as a Lead Toddler Teacher. I’ve been in that position for almost three years now and I love it! However I am looking to grown my career on a more one on one setting. Some of my daily responsibilities include, Overall classroom management: leading/creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can play and learn. Implementing curriculum and age appropriate activities to stimulate children’s minds and help them grow not only developmentally, but also physically and Read more emotionally. Serving as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning for all children that enter my class. Communicating regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. As well as building relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. I am up to date on all of the trainings and certifications that the state of North Carolina requires such as CPR (all ages), First Aide (all ages), SIDS, Safe Sleep, Abuse and Neglect, Maltreatment and many others. I am willing and able to obtain those certifications per your request! Prior to working where I do now currently, I worked at my gym in their child watch room, and I have 9+ years of babysitting experience.
