Hi! My name is Alexia Chester, I'm currently a Junior at FAU majoring in Elementary Education and I absolutely love kids! My passion for teaching started with my 5+ years of paid babysitting/nannying. In 2017 I received my BLS certification, which includes CPR as well as AED. I have worked with children from 6 months up to 14 years of age. I'm a firm believer of hands-on activities with children, such as crafts and baking cookies, that I am more than happy to provide (with all food allergies in mind). I will ensure nothing but safety and tons of fun, while making sure they get any chores/homework done also! I'm confident in my abilities of creating a warm, trusting relationship with your child and have several references I can provide. In addition, I have my own car and a perfect driving record so I would be more than happy to Read more drive your children to and from places as needed. I know most schools in the area have shut down due to the coronavirus, including FAU. Safety of our loved ones is critical during this time. I am looking for employment not only through the remainder of this school year and summer, but next year as well. I try to schedule my classes online, but when necessary will take a night class which would not interfere with any childcare obligations. I look forward to helping you out with your little ones!
