Being a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 5 has enhanced my natural love and compassion for children. I started as a sitter about 20 years ago just to make some extra money. When I lost my job as a secretary, I wanted to do something different, but something I truly enjoyed. Then I remember how much I really loved working with children, and decided to pursue childcare fulltime. So I started working in the school system as a substitute teacher. It was so rewarding to see a child learn and grow and be told I had a something to do with it! I worked for the school for several years, then decided to become a full-time nanny. I started as a part-time, as-needed sitter in 1993, for one 3 year-old and soon a new born. I became a full-time nanny in 2002, and been at it ever since! Read more I have worked for many families since then, including Brandon Lefell, when he was the Panthers wide receiver. I was with this last family 2 years, even though my contract was up the prior year. The family prior to this last family, I was with them 6 years! They were in high school when I left, 9th, 11th and 12th grade. I am a Personal Chef, and know my way around the kitchen. I love music from R & B to jazz, country, classical, and Opera! I guess I just like music! I don't have any certifications, just a hard worker with common sense! I also believe I can put your mind at ease, and stress level practically non-existence, if given the opportunity! Thank you for your consideration!
