Hey there! My name is Belinda - I am currently a Special Education Teacher for grades K-5 here in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I have been teaching for the past 6 years, but babysitting has been my thing for over 15 years. I will always remember begging my mom to help be "mommy" to my little sister and as soon as I was 13 (oh, 2004...) I made posters that we posted in the local elementary school within our neighborhood, and I was quite the little hustler! Kidding...but I was very happy and busy. I am a natural caregiver and love being creative with kids (movie night + forts, cooking, baking, art, science experiments...summer homework?). I am open to something somewhat long term as I am taking a break from teaching to plan my wedding and gain a masters degree. I would enjoy working with a family that isn't just a Read more "job", but a warm and inviting support system. I love watching and supporting children grow into something amazing and if it means allowing you to get what you need done, I'm your girl!
