I am 24 years old recently graduated from Wingate University with a bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and double minors in sociology and International studies. For high school I attended NorthWest school of the Arts in uptown Charlotte, NC where I majored in Wind Ensemble playing the trombone. I was also apart of the honors Jazz Ensemble all through high school and middle school and won many competitions and even opend for a few celebrities including Chubby Checker (best known for The Twist) and one of Micheal Jacksons sisters. I have actually spent the last 4 years (first 2 during summers in between school) working in construction (road and plumbing install) and enjoy working with my hands. In my free time I make costumes and attend conventions such as Dragoncon in Atlanta. I make constumes from TV shows, movies (Big Marvel Fan) and anime. My FAVORITE part of making Read more my own costumes and props is getting to wear it and meeting younger children. They think their favorite characters have come to life and are meeting them and it's always been my greatest pleasure being someones real super hero or princess. As you can see I am very crafty and enjoy working with my hands. Should the parents allow it I would love to help teach their lil bugs to sew their own costumes or build their own props to support their wild imaginations. I do feel it is important to show children regardless of gender how to be independent in all areas of life and feel that a female ex construction worker/muscian/costume maker has a lot to teach. I sadly do not have much professional experience nannying but basically raised my little brother from birth while my mother went back to school full time to earn her bachelors degree while also working full time. I have experience baby sitting for my neighbors and friends in the area and have always been a hit with infants and toddlers. Nannying is something I have considered for a very long time as I am very passionate about the next generations health and growth :)
