I have been CPR certified. Besides acquiring a college degree in Psychology, I have experience with working with children and have done volunteer work with children. One of my favorite volunteer experiences was being a coach for an after school program for "Girls on the Run" in 2013. I utilized psychology for pubescent young girls between the ages 10-13, presented strong leadership skills, and worked on helping the girls develop a more positive regard about their image. It is a critical program for building excellent self-image and great after school day-care. During high school for my senior project, I utilized the Universal of Design for Learning for students in the third grade under the supervision of a guidance counselor and teacher. The Universal of Design for Learning is not only an aid for students with learning disabilities, but to help children excel faster in school. I designed hands-on techniques, encouraged Read more creativity in students and applied cognitive social skills for student struggling with shyness. My critics of who were doctors and lawyers applauded this program I designed for this particular set of third graders. They were all greatly pleased by the results of my project that they encouraged many schools to utilize my program. I have earned numerous honors awards at the University level for my proficiency in academics.
