Greetings, My name is Amber Johnson. I'm currently a stay at home mom to a vivacious 3 year old daughter, Lori! I'm looking for a nanny position that is family oriented. Family is super important to me! I have two associates degrees in general education, art/college transfer, and a bachelor's degree in sociology. I've lived in North Carolina for fifteen years but raised by a wonderful single mom in Portland, Maine. I have always loved working with children. My first nanny position I worked for a single mom with three school aged children. Although I was only 15 years old I loved everything about nannying! I really enjoyed tutoring the children in math, ELA, and science. Balancing life, education, and family has always been important to me. My plans to begin a master's degree program in Sociology with a concentration in early development are hopefully in the near future. Most Read more of my adult work experience is in the medical field as a phlebotomist, laboratory assistant, or more recently in medical case management. I am qualified to care for any age child, even though my past work experience has been in the medical field. My drastic career change came in to play when my husband, Jonathan, and I lost our 2 year old daughter, Jenna to childhood leukemia 8 years ago. My life was forever changed! After this, I began a college. My interest in the sociological world, public health, and mental well-being was born. Along with my education, I'm level headed in emergency situations.
