Education : completed Associates Degree at Wake Technical College with a love for philosophy and Spanish. I graduated on the Dean's list with an above 3. 3 GPA. About me: I have taken a break from school work to really find what makes me feel happy and fulfilled and devote most of my time to pursuing a professional dance career. I would like to open my own plant based restaurant in the future as I love cooking and do it often! Experience: I grew up the oldest girl cousin among more than 4 cousins and spent my time helping with homework and keeping the younger ones occupied. I also spent three summers working 50 hours a week as a summer camp counselor looking after kids age 5-13 daily. In addition I was a praise dance teacher for a year with kids 5-8. Covid-19: I understand that now is a very trying and difficult time for many families. Many have had to shift to remote working and are wanting to take precautions to keep their family safe. I do my best to social distance from others whom I do not live with and follow all CDC guidelines for sanitization. I take this difficult time very seriously but with a positive outlook for the future Virtual Learning: For parents right now is a very important time with kid's going to school virtually or in-person. As a recent college graduate I have taken multiple online courses and have experience with Microsoft, Zoom, Skype and online discussion posting. I also have successfully planned and organized time for my own virtual learning. Coupled with my tutoring experience I would love to help any families with virtual learning!
