I have cared for children all of my life and some of my experience includes helping my mom, who was a pediatric home health care nurse, being a mom's helper to a 15 month old baby who was diagnosed with cancer until she was 18 months, volunteering at the Boy's and Girl's club, working as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional, and also working with an after school program as a Youth Advocate in elementary schools and middle schools. I also ran a program called Too Good for Drugs for 5th and 9th graders whose aim was to provide the students with protective factors and confidence in order to have the ability to positively say no to drugs. I am currently CPR certified and in nursing school. I am looking for summer work that will also allow me to have my daughter with me who will be two June 17th. I own an Read more SUV so there will be plenty of room for everyone, and I take my daughter out on adventures a few times a week while incorporating learning activities.
