Hey there, my name is McKayla Thompson. I’ve been working with for Providence Home Care for a little over 3 years now. I have experience working with several different children that require special needs such as Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, cognitive and behavioral issues, etc. I am currently attending Davidson County Community College in the Medical Assisting program. My classes are hybrid, meaning I only attend class a couple days a week while I complete all assignments and tests online. I also have been babysitting a 5 month old for a family friend the past couple months and I’ve learned that working with infants/toddlers is what makes my heart happy! Although I love my current job, I think I may be happier and more able to focus on school while working with one single family rather than multiple.
