Hello I have been eagerly looking into nanny positions because I have a passion for helping kids and families. While I am new to professional child care, I have experience from babysitting my cousin's infant in the past. I would watch him anywhere from 1 to 6 hours and in that time I learned how to put an infant down for a nap, change his diapers and how to prepare milk. I would keep him entertained by talking to him, encouraging him to play with his toys and using the bouncer and walker. Now her kids are 5 and 3 years old and while I don't babysit them now, I love playing with them and seeing how much they grow every time I visit them. I started this year off with acquiring my Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate, and it makes me feel more knowledgeable knowing I have the skills to Read more help someone in need. When I'm not at work I can be found reading, walking my dog and spending time with my family. I found my love for getting outside and walking during 2020, and it easily became my favorite activity. Being able to take the kids on walks or even family walks would be delightful, since I believe it is very important to get outside and move our bodies.
