My name is Rachel Bammel and I'm 19 years old. I have been volunteering and working with kids since I was 14. My dream is to open up a community theatre for children with disabilities. I was attending Appalachian State University studying Theatre Education but I realized that Arts Administration suits me better so I withdrew. I'm currently taking the semester off to get a job in the mean time before I start next semester at a school with arts administration. I'm originally from New Jersey and moved here a year and a half ago. In NJ I worked as a camp counselor, lifeguard, stage manger, and child watch assistant for 2 years at the YMCA. Since moving to NC I've worked at the Lake Norman YMCA as a Leadership Counselor teaching theatre and art camp. Although I love arts I also love sports. I played soccer for 6 years.
