Hi! My name is Ava Magnanti, I'm 18 years old, and I recently graduated from Langtree Charter Academy. I'm a competitive dancer with The Dance Spot in Huntersville, North Carolina, and in August I will be moving to San Diego, California to continue my dance education as a Work Study with the San Diego Dance Theater. I have always loved kids, I have younger sisters 9 and 10 years younger than me, so I was experienced before I even began babysitting. I began paid babysitting for my neighbors when I was around 11 years old, and babysat regularly for a few families in my neighborhood during middle and early high school. I was even a Camp Counselor for my first official job! I am Red Cross certified in BLS (Basic Life Saving), CPR, and First Aid. I have my own car and do feel comfortable driving with kids in the Read more car, but do not own car seats myself. I am comfortable observing and helping with swimming, especially as the weather heats up. I can cook and bake both for children and with children (parents and sitters know they are definitely different), and I'm willing to do light housework such as washing dishes and cleaning bedrooms.
