I was unsure how to answer the above question regarding paid childcare. I have periodically babysat through the years mainly children infant through 10 years old. I also have done a number of volunteer experiences both in the after school and public-school classroom setting for grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. I have recent experience in a licensed child-care facility, where I cared mainly for ages 0-4 years old. I believe a person centered and holistic care philosophy in caring for children. This means I will help the child with their homework, and because I studied Education in college, I will have the knowledge base to assist them in learning it. I also love playing with the children I care for. And I enjoy assisting them as well as providing them with any needs they may have. I would also seek to mentor them.
