I've always loved llittle children. They are a precious gift from God. I did a lot of babysitting years ago...but then went to college and ended up working in an office for over twenty years. When I was 40, God brought a wonderful man into my life. We married...and soon we were blessed with a precious daughter. As we had previously discussed, I left the workforce to be a stay at home mommy and raise our little girl. It's been quite an adjustment financially, but so worth it to know our child is properly cared for, protected from a lot of the mess kids are so often exposed to these days, and in a Christian environment every day. For the past seven years, I have babysat fulltime for two families, watching their kids since they were newborn. (I have also cared for other children short term/part time during that time.) Read more But now, their youngest kids are heading to Kindergarten... so I have a couple of vacant spots this Fall when school starts. I would love the opportunity to discuss caring for your child in my home. I specialize in ages newborn to five years. We are also an NC licensed foster home, which requires us to keep up-to-date on first aid/CPR certifications and ongoing training. NOT available for childcare on Sundays or on Christmas Day!
