Over the past ten years I have been a nanny for four different families with children varying in ages from one to ten years old. My most recent job was this summer in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, where I spent two months teaching English to a brother and sister, while playing games inside and out, going to the town pool, preparing breakfast and lunch, and tidying up around the house. In another previous job, I doubled as a nanny and help around the house, beginning my days getting the twins dressed, fed, and out the door to school; spending the day with the toddler and also cleaning up around the house, performing chores such as sweeping, vacuuming, moping, dishes, laundry, ironing, and cleaning the bathrooms; and ending the days by picking the girls up from the bus stop, helping them with their homework, and occasionally feeding and putting them to Read more bed. I spent this last year living abroad in Spain and working in two primary schools, assisting in teaching English to children aged between six and twelve years old. I had the awesome opportunity to choreograph our school's musical and teach weekly dance lessons to my students. I absolutely love working and being with children, be it dancing, playing games and sports, making crafts, or helping them to learn. I find it all very rewarding and hope to continue to do so now that I've moved back to the States!
