A bit of general info about myself. I am 40 (although part of me is still a child, which I think is awesome :-) I was a horse trainer for over 18 years, wrote a novel published 10 years ago (now trying to return to writing for another side careeer) and currently going through a divorce. I am looking to feel fulfilled and appreciated while helping others and earning income. I will help with errands, any care/companionship, reading, activities, or just sitting if that's what the person needs. I'll also provide transporting to appoinments, shopping, any errands, after school pick up and activities for kids/teens (Even movies, out to eat, or mall, if it's in the ok'd list of fun things to do with them) I'll take pets for walks, play or to any appointments, whatever is needed for the individual or family I am helping. I love art, creative Read more hobbies, animals, movies, and reading/writing, so any time I get a client (young or old) who enjoys those makes my day. I am DMV checked through www.care.com, and background checked through www.rover.com/sit/Michelle94 I have no formal training or certification, but I love elderly people, respectful children, and just being helpful to anyone who is in need. I have taken care of my 4 nieces and nephews as youngsters and into their now teen and preteen years, and helped my horse trainer boss with his twin down syndrome granddaughters (who are now in their late 20's.) I have taken care of my grandparents who lived in their own home into their 90's. I also took care of my mother through her cancer battle until the end when hospice could not care for her. So, I do have pretty up close and personal experience with things like bathroom issues, hygiene, linen changes, and much more. I do not mind caring for sick, or disabled (whether its mental or physical) my oldest brother was mentally challenged. I also have experience with autism and down syndrome. Pay rates may be adjusted if needed and also dependent on the duty I am given, but I would discuss that, of course. Any references I give would be mainly from pet parents or people I've created custom wreaths for, or done general companionship/errands or jobs for. Official child care services are something I'm now trying to branch into, the same as with housekeeping services. But I will not hesitate to meet with you or anyone needing child help, and would love to become a valued provider of this. Thank you :-)
