Hello! I am a travelling sitter and do short-term care opportunities (please note - I am not available for long term care positions). I'm Elissa! I started babysitting as a teenager and love working with children. Since high school, I volunteered at my churches' Sunday school with infants to 5th graders including a ministry for children with disabilities. I worked at afterschool programs, summer camps, day cares with infants-preK, nannied for 4 children and was a resource teacher for at-risk youth. I switched careers and for 12 years worked in social services with families, youth and adults with mental health disorders, intellectual and physical disabilities. I decided to go back to what I loved, working directly with young children. The last 3 1/2 years specifically I nannied for 6 families and baysat for many others (ages 3 mnth - 8 yrs old).
