Reading in character voices, singing songs and finger painting with children isn't for everyone, but it’s my forte. I’ve been holding babies and smiling at children as long as I can remember. At 18 I was hired as a live in/share nanny for a six wk old and 11 month old over the course of six months I was responsible for diaper changes, meal prep, feedings, dish clean up and engaging in different activities that promoted development for both. After a years employment and the families move I then started working as an early education teacher in a Primrose facility. I started as an assistant/floater in six weeks to 6 months, 6 months to year and early pre school. I was officially position as teacher for the early pre school room for children 12 months to 24. Upon starting college I began a part time nanny position for 8 month Read more old twins and a 3 year old that transitioned into a full time position as a nanny/ house manager. Regular responsibilities were preparing all meals for the children, feedings, dressing/diaper changing, dishes, laundry, taking the eldest to school, engaging in different activities that would benefit the twins development such as music classes, story time, swim lessons, play dates, museums, zoo etc. My full time position lasted until the twins started pre school and then transitioned into summer care. My last full time nanny position was caring for two newborns that were six and eight weeks old. Responsibilities included diaper changing, feeding, implementing eating/sleep routine, tummy time, introducing solids as well as guiding and nurturing each through their major (& minor) milestones for one year. Now more then ten years of professional experience later and having a child of my own has guided me into a nanny connoisseur. (By no means do I think I am an expert parent) But I am more then confident I can provide safe, healthy, nurturing and animated childcare. My son Maddox who recently just turned 3 and our two odd pair of dogs moved to the Chapel Hill area a little bit over ago and there is still so much of the triangle area we haven’t seen! However as Maddox enters a new journey into pre school I am eager to get back into what I do best and meet a new family to work with!
