Hello! I want to share a little about myself with you. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in elementary school! My passion is caring for others and I have spent my life doing just that! When I was 20 years old I was a live-in governess/nanny to four children! When I became a mother I owned and operated an in-home daycare in which I cared for infants and toddlers who grew with me. Eventually I owned a school aged daycare! I volunteered, and then worked, in the local elementary and middle schools, teaching resource and inclusion classes. I taught preschool for three year olds for 11 years! I love teaching and nurturing! In recent years I thought I wanted to be a nurse and I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Johnston Health and at Springbrook Nursing and Rehab in Clayton.
