I started babysitting for families at my church mostly for children no older than five. I've always had a love for children, if it was just playing with them or caring for them, I always wanted to be around them. After completing high school early, i waited a semester and then applied to VGCC to obtain my credentials in Early Childhood education. I worked at two childcare centers before being hired by a private family. I absolutely love working in this field! I enjoy the responsibility that comes a long with it encouraging children, caring for them, and assisting families in a positive way. I have assisted the current children in my care be prepared for kindergarten and supported them in performing above current grade level expectations.
