You could just look at my babysitting profile and see I have been a nanny/child care worker/babysitter for most of my life. I am not too sure what the difference in calling someone a nanny or babysitter entails but let me just assure you I am extremely well qualified to watch children. When I was a pre-k teacher I had a deaf student in my class and I had to teach myself some basic sign in order to communicate with him. I also decided to incorporate a daily lesson for the children where I taught them their abc's in sign language just to make sure that we did an activity that included my deaf student. It just shows you that I am more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure all kids are included. I have always loved working with children and now that my kids are Read more in school and don't need my constant care I am looking forward to helping with someone elses children. I just want to be able to feel like I am helping contribute more to my family as well as to yours!
