I have been taking care of people and animals for almost all of my life. I was raised and still live on my family’s horse farm. For the past 25 years, I have been in Women’s Health and Pediatric Nursing. I worked at both Duke and UNC Children’s Hospital for 10 years each and loved every minute of it!! On the side, I assist with vet needs. I love to cook, clean and do flower/garden work. I have 3 kids ages 21,18 and 16. My husband of 18 years, passed away in my arms four years ago from heart cancer.
