I have been caring for children since I was 13 when my nephew was born. My sisters husband served in the army and was deployed 7 times over a period of about 6 years. I definitely got an early start and have loved every minute of it. I cared for my niece as well after she was born. I have been babysitting other peoples children since I was 17. I was a nanny for 2 middle school sisters for 2 years. My job included carting them around, picking them up from school and taking care of anything they needed while they were in my care. I cared for a newborn for 2 weeks while her mother got back into the swing of working. I have watched children varying in age from newborn through 10th grade. I have watched as many as 5 children at a time ranging in age from Read more 6 weeks to 6 years old. That was an interesting and super fun experience. I have regular clients, however most come and go due to the military lifestyle that goes with living around Ft.Bragg. I am CPR certified and have basic health care provider training as well. I have always loved children, and enjoyed being around them. I also appreciate parents who take the time to find someone who is responsible and experienced in childcare.
