As an older sibling I have grown up in an environment in which both responsibility and caring for little ones were not only encouraged, but necessary. At the age of 13, I began babysitting and volunteering in my church's children's ministry and I immediately fell in love with both. Additionally, my family has been involved in fostering young children (ages 6 months- 2 years), where my love of caring for them deepened. My passion for taking care of children has carried over into my dreams for the future as I am currently studying to become a pediatric occupational therapist. There is nothing I love more than seeing the world through a child's eyes and creating an environment that encourages countless imaginative adventures.
