My name is Abby, I’m 19 years old and I have been babysitting for the past 6 years of my life. Watching the kids I have babysat grow into such wonderful people is so amazing to me. I love to help with life advice, school advice and everything in between. I think of myself as not only a nanny/babysitter, but a friend. I’ll always be there if they need someone to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on. I’m there to do my job and make sure everything is done correctly and the kid(s) are taken care of, but I also know that everyone just needs a friend sometimes. I believe what makes me different is I’m not just there for a paycheck. I will help out with whatever you need and I genuinely care and want what’s best for the children I am trusted to watch. I currently work at a doggy daycare so I’m 100% okay with pets! I love dogs, cats even exotic animals as I have one myself. I have also worked in the restaurant and retail industry so I have gained many life skills from that. As for my education; I graduated high school in 2019 with a 3.8 GPA and I am currently working on getting my bachelors degree in Psychology to become a correctional treatment specialist. I just recently moved to North Carolina so I have to take a gap year so I can receive in state tuition. I have loved psychology for as long as I can remember, I took a psychology and sociology class in high school and absolutely loved them. I would also like to note that I have my drivers license, I’m very reliable and I would love to help out in any way that I can!
