I am a third generation nanny. I have been babysitting since 1992 and have over 19 years care giver experience as a nanny. I have experience as a babysitter, live-in and live-out nanny, providing overnight newborn/infant care, ex-party care (in my home), tutor, and have watched children from newborn to 15 years of age. I have a Bachelor’s and an Early Childhood Education certificate, and am currently taking a Newborn Infant Care course. I work with families to help maintain a structured environment full of love, caring, and nurturing so that the children know they are cared for and loved and therefor thrive better. Most of the families I work for I have had the pleasure of working with from infancy to school age. I structure our day around educational activities and outings. I enjoy going on nature walks, to the park, museums, play dates, the library, and other places Read more where we can stretch our legs and minds. I do not use corporal punishment and prefer redirection and hugs over time out. I am not a huge fan of tv or video games, I prefer that children play outside or with toys that build skills.
