In my early 20s I was a nanny in Boston and Iowa. I gave it up in my early 30's to get married, but now having another change in life and ready to get back to childcare. The children I cared for ranged in ages of newborn to teenagers (now grown, married and kids of their own!). My love is the care of young children, helping them grow, learn and explore the world. I believe reading to, playing with and actively engaging children is key to their growth and development. Not a fan of the TV and video games. I also view my position to be a supporting role to the parents, I respect the parents wishes on proper disciple and activities for their children.
