Meet Amelia

Growing up surrounded by family and friends full of little ones, taking care of others has simply become a part of who I am. My quick Band-Aid patch-ups in the backyard ignited the spark within me and fueled my desire to take care of others. Although my experience began in my own home with my three younger siblings (ages three to fifteen), by the time I was in seventh grade, I began babysitting regularly for many families that began to feel like my own, and I have been doing so ever since! The passion I developed over the years led me to take Health Science courses in high school and encouraged me to seek additional training and certifications outside of the classroom, such as the American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (CPR and AED) and the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry (Healthcare) Course certification. These additional opportunities to grow in Read more the knowledge of caring for others safely and reliably have only served to strengthen my passion for children and inspired me to pursue a degree in nursing! I have found so much joy in working with the little ones that "serving" in church on the weekends is never an obligation but rather a delight. It is my hope to continue loving, caring for, and building relationships with the kiddos! There is so much to learn from the little ones, and I am beyond blessed with the ability, desire, and opportunity to work alongside them. I am thrilled to see what's to come and am so grateful for your time! Thank you!
