I am an upstate SC native, and have recently moved to NC because it is where I have always wanted to live. I have many years of experience in childcare(including raising 3 of my own). This experience includes: caring for infants and toddlers in a daycare center, a position with twin toddlers, years as a scout leader, and caring for my granddaughter her first 9 months. I have also spent a good bit of time with children who are challenged with ADHD or Aspergers.This has given me a special patience, and understanding of people who see the world differently. I have an Early Childhood Certification, and was a nursing major in college. This, and my years of experience, has given me a strong base of knowledge about child development, psychology, and behavior. Now on a personal note...I have always loved children(and pets for that matter), and gotten along well with both.My goal when caring for a family is to make sure the children feel happy, safe, and secure, and the parents feel confident that everything is being taken care of well in their absence, so they are free to do the best jobs they can at work.
