Hello, my name is Emma. I am a teacher who taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for 2 years, and who has tutored children ages 4-18 for 6 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, and I hold my Master of Education in Language and Literacy. This qualifies me as a Reading Specialist for children in Kindergarten through 12th grade. I did not renew my teaching contract for the current school year because I had plans to teach overseas in Asia. Due to the Delta variant of Covid-19 I was not able to follow that plan. I am a hands-on nanny and babysitter. I do not believe in sitting in front of the TV for hours. I love to get my hands dirty and stay active with your child! I am a compassionate person who loves working with children of all ages. I have experience with newborns and babies starting at 2 weeks. My CPR certificate is active and I have training in newborn and baby CPR as well. I always clean up any mess and food/dishes. I am also happy to help with any laundry services. I plan to teach internationally next school year, but in the mean time, I hope I can be of service to you!
