Hi there! My name is Alyssa. I am 22 years old and a Wilmington local! I am currently finishing up my degree in Cultural Anthropology online. I have worked with children since I was sixteen, but over the past 5 years I have worked for a childcare company in town for after-school care as well as summer camp (Fitness After School Training). My responsibilities there included picking children up from school, assisting with homework, providing first aid if necessary, and organizing/supervising different activities such as team sports and arts & crafts. At any given time I was responsible for helping to oversee 30-60 children. I am CPR certified and trained in providing First Aid. Working with kids is important to me because I really enjoy helping them learn & grow as individuals!
