I am a mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother of 2 young grandsons. I love taking care of young children, I enjoy being able to show new things to children and watch their faces light up as they get the idea you are showing them. I believe every child should be given individual attention every day, and should be read to on a consistent basis. I have always tried to be available for my daughter and grandsons from the day they were born, and have been a mentor to teenage girls at my church. I also help whenever needed with my neighbors 2 little boys, one infant and one 2 year old. I began babysitting when I was 12 years old for my neighbors, and continued to babysit until I gave birth to my 2nd child. I have babysat on an occasional basis in the years since then. Read more I have taken the Red Cross approved CPR course, but it was many years ago. I would be willing to take the course again if needed.
