My name is Alexandra, but I go by my initials (AK). I’m 23 and I’m a UND graduate with a bachelors in public health education. I’m currently taking a break from graduate school, and working full time evenings as a direct support professional at REM North Dakota. The group home I work at is for children experiencing severe behavioral challenges and intellectual disability. I’m up to date on my cpr/first aid certifications and have received training on autism, seizures, and therapeutic response. In addition to that, my job with as a direct support professional afforded me the opportunity to receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine!
