I've raised my own family and am now a Grandmother. My youngest son is a person with disabilities. As a social worker I've worked in Child welfare and Mental/Behavioral health and am retired from the state of Oregon. I graduated from the U of Oregon. I have been blessed to have lived all over the country since I was a kid. My home state is New York. While raising my family I volunteered in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, taught Sunday school, volunteered in scout camps, served as a 'room mother' for years while the kids were in elementary school. Just out of high school I worked for Headstart back when it was a new program. It was by far the most fun job I ever had. Little kids are the greatest people on the earth!!!!
