When I am with kids, I like to let them take the lead in play to encourage curiosity (with boundaries for safety and respect for others, of course). I have 2 years "in kind" childcare experience assisting my MIL with her 3 grandchildren, 1 year experience teaching art classes for elementary age children, and various babysitting experience. I consider myself a big kid and a lifetime learner-currently I study landscape architecture at UCLA Extension. I can't wait to learn about your family! I am looking for a part or full time arrangement near Hollywood. I share a car with my husband, and I'd prefer to be able to reach you by bus or bicycle if I need to.
