Hi, my name is Leah! I started out in childcare working at Our House Children's Learning Center for 5 years, as the lead infant/toddler teacher. During my time there, I learned infant nutrition, how to help babies reach developmental milestones, infant CPR, and trained new teachers. After that, I nannied for an amazing family for 4 years. I started when their daughter was 4 months old, until she was 4 years. I also took care of her premie baby brother who was on oxygen. We loved going on outings to the zoo, children's museum, nature adventures, library, splash parks, and more. I believe children learn best through play; I love creating and implementing activities that engage social, emotional, and physical development. I nannied in North Carolina for another year, for a 3 year old, and learned gentle parenting techniques.
