I am a mother of two sons, ages 27 and 29, who are fully independent and grown. I have been a school teacher for my full adult life. Teaching has been my life-blood. I embraced Waldorf Education as it recognizes the whole child and child development that goes way beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. It embraces play ias the work of young children. Through play and encouraging imagination and confidence children learn at their own individual pace. My care of children involves their intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth and health. I have earned a Masters in Education and have over twenty years experience as a teacher. Now as I enter my 60s, I am less inclined to be a classroom teacher. Rather I embrace the opportunity to care for and love a special family's children.
