My name is Karianne. I graduated this past May with an Elementary Education degree. I have extensive experience working with children in both an academic and recreational environment. My babysitting experiences include caring for 1- 4 children at a time, from the ages of newborn to children in junior high. My responsibilities while babysitting have included helping children with their homework, planning activities, playing games, meal prep and also putting them to bed. For the past 3 summers (2012, 2013, 2014) I have worked at a preschool for children with special needs. I was a teacher’s assistant and worked with the students both one-on-one and in groups. My responsibilities included giving the children snacks, playing games with them, changing diapers, helping them focus during the lesson and also helping with their school work. I have also been involved in children's programs at my church since in was in 7th grade. Read more These programs include Sunday school, summer programs, and a once a month children's program. I have also worked at two summer camps, one at which I worked in the nursery and the preschool classroom and the other was a week long sleep away camp where I was a counselor for elementary aged girls.
