Meet Heather

I began nannying around two years ago, and knew then that I loved working with kids. Since then, I have worked with ages 0 to 10 in both daycare and nannying settings, and have loved developing lessons that have allowed kid’s curiosity to expand. I hope to continue that this summer before I leave for college, as well during my school breaks! I have a very hands on approach, and very rarely use electronics, though everyone loves a good movie day! This hands on approach includes getting to know what the child enjoys specifically, and then creating lessons and activities based off of that: this could be baking together, making board games, or creating an obstacle course in the backyard! No matter that the activity is, my main goal is to help children find what they love to do, while developing who they are in a safe environment.
