I am a college graduate that studied family dynamics and child development who loves teaching and interacting with children of all ages. In addition to babysitting experience, I have a years' experience working with special needs teenagers and a years' experience working in the public school system as a teaching assistant for elementary-aged children. My mentor style reflects the Montessori method: providing self-directed, hands-on experiences to learn and explore a child's environment, and offering choices in a child's daily activities. Imaginative play, reading, music, and games are always encouraged under my care and as a previous teaching assistant, I am an excellent homework helper!
