I have over a decade of experience in childhood education, and have spent the last five years of that nannying. I studied at the Concord Regional Technical Center and graduated from their Exploring Teaching program in 2012. I jumped into preschool education and special ed right away and have loved every minute of my career! I currently study childhood development and psychology at college. I work with children of all ages, but infants are my specialty! I am trained in safe sleep, CPR and First Aid, nutrition for different ages, and various teaching techniques. Although I use a primarily RIE and Montessori approach, my style is very eclectic. I am familiar with developmental goals and milestones and fun, creative ways to encourage kids of all ages to nurture their bodies and minds, explore their passions, and develop a sense of confidence and independence early on. I love nature and spending Read more time outside with kids. I do lots of age appropriate open-ended art and sensory activities. I speak English and conversational Spanish and happy to use both with your child if you prefer. I love to play music with children, dance, and play, while also tending to their physical needs. You may catch us doing Baby & Me yoga one day, a paint activity the next, and learning about new cultures through food or music another! I am very passionate and happy to discuss what you're looking for.
