I am a 25-year-old living in Rancho Penasquitos. I moved here in August from NH to live with the family I nanny for. I've completed many early childhood education courses at NHTI, as well as the vocational program at my high school. I work as a full time live in Nanny for a family of 4 children! I have been working with them since sept 2014. I was previously an Infant teacher at a private childcare center - a center I've been a trusted employee at since 2006. After spending the past four years working with infants in groups as big as 10 at a time, I've learned what types of milestones babies should be reaching and when, along with what kinds of activities stimulate young children and encourage them to learn and develop properly. When I wasn't in the infant room, I often worked with toddlers and kindergartners, as Read more well. This job has given me impeccable experience with children between the ages of 6 years to 6 weeks - including families with multiples and with special needs. As an added plus, I've met some incredible families through the childcare center who have welcomed me into their home as their nanny, giving me experience with handling day-to-day activities, chores, and other various responsibilities. Being a full-time nanny now- I've been able to gain even more experience with what its like to be at home with the children!
