I am currently taking time off from classes at Keene State College. In my junior year of high school, I worked in our on-site preschool. I worked directly with the children (aged 3-5) four days per week. During my senior year, I worked in a local elementary school in a fourth grade classroom three days per week. In both situations, I learned how to create and carry out lesson plans, how to discipline and redirect children, and how to provide a safe and fun learning environment. My last two full time positions were for families with infants and I loved every second. Two summers ago, I nannied for a family with four children aged 12, 10, 7 and 1. Last summer I nannied for a family with three children aged 10, 7 and 2. I was responsible for driving the children to activities, preparing meals, and cleaning the house. I Read more am CPR and first aid certified. I love working with children of all ages. I enjoy doing outdoor activities, creating craft projects, and playing games with the children.
