Being six years older than my brother, I grew up doting upon him and helping my parents care for him. Right from the start, my mom referred to me as a "mini mommy". As I grew, so did my love of children. When I was 15, I started babysitting a family friend's new baby and later that summer, I was a live-in nanny for my cousins and I took care of their two young children. Currently, I offer to babysit as often as I can. I still watch that family friend's now 8 year old son, and my best friend has a 2 year old newphew who I consider part of my own family and I am with him every weekend. I also watch my cousin's three children, currently ranging from 7-14, whenever she needs and I have been babysitting them for over five years.
