Hi, my name is Heather and I never really expected to be a nanny, being a nanny chose me when my older sister brought home my first baby nephew 7 years ago. When I was just 13, I started learning how to change diapers, feed and bathe him, burp him and I also learned how to comfort him when he cried. I loved to help my sister out and as I got older, she started trusting me alone with him while she went to work and I did not disappoint her! Not only did I take care of him and keep him happy, I also had a blast playing with him and making him giggle all the while keeping him safe and clean! I am very outgoing and friendly. My goal is to have your kids actually excited and want to have me around while also respecting the wishes and boundaries of the parents. No, I am not CPR certified BUT will absolutely get right to it, just say the word.. I will do anything that makes the parents feel safer with me. I am however a trained babysitter. I took a class at my local YMCA and learned a lot about emergency situations, how to deal with sibling conflict or conflict between child and babysitter and I learned how to talk to children properly and overall I learned how to make feel accepting and feel comfortable around me.
