Hello Families! My name is Sarah and I am looking for a flexible summer childcare position. I am an early childhood educator, with more than 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I currently work in a public school as an integrated preschool teacher, where I teach a multi-age, diverse learner class of students between 3 and 5 years old. I have worked as a babysitter/nanny, teacher in group child care settings, as well as serving as a teacher in public school in grades Pre-k, kindergarten, and first. I am the mother of two children, ages 15 and 18. I love teaching and providing children with opportunities to learn and grow through play and exploration. I love outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, books, and games. I am looking for a summer job where I can work with children, plan fun and engaging activities and outings, Read more and give kids a summer to remember! *I am looking for a situation with some flexibility, as I have to drive my 15 year old daughter to and from her summer job. I need a position with either flexible scheduling or a situation where the family is comfortable with me taking the kids with me so I can provide the transportation my daughter needs.
